DIY Lace Earring Holder

Since my mother is a jeweler I tend to have a plethora of jewelry, the majority of it being earrings. Most of my earrings we’re completely disorganized and spread out between two jewelry boxes, so today I decided it was time to fix that. In under an hour I created a lovely earring display for my room, that’s also is a great way to organize my earrings.

This project only cost me about $20 but you could certainly do it for cheaper if you buy a cheap frame (mine was about $15). Also you could use wire rather than lace, but for that I recommend using a nail gun and not a glue gun. Finally, make sure the lace you purchase is sturdy enough to hold large earrings. I brought some big ones with me when I went shopping just to test.

To start you’ll need the following materials:

Materials for Earring Holder

Materials

  • Frame
  • Lace
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Scissors
  • Fray Check (optional)
Then just cut out of the lace to fit comfortably on the back of the frame. You can apply Fray Check to the edges if you want. Grab your hot glue gun and line the lace up with the back of the frame. Using your finger just carefully tap the lace into the glue as you lay it down. Try to work equally on both sides so that they meet in a corner and keep the lace taught.
In very little time you’ll have a finished earring holder!
